We import, kit and distribute Raychem Low and Medium & High-voltage cable accessories. We provide comprehensive technical support and advice, based on years of cable industry experience to all users of our products.

We assemble components locally in our ISO 9001 Accredited facility thereby providing flexibility in meeting customers’ needs.

TRAINING

Our Training Facility is an accredited EWSETA and MICT Skills Development Centre specialising in Low/Medium Voltage and High Voltage jointing and termination methods.

Our main objective is to increase the level of knowledge and skills abilities of our own personnel as well as instructing our customers in the proper use of its products. To this end, TANK intends to promote general principles and use international and nationally recognised experts in their fields to transfer their knowledge to attendees.

Theoretical and Practical Training Course’s in: The Jointing & Termination of Medium/High Voltage Cables comply to the requirements of SANS 10198 (part 10 &11) as per SAQA US ID 259187.

Training is done under the auspices and accreditation of EWSETA and NQF level 1 to 4. Procedures have been established for the training needs of the technical personnel to meet the standards of SANS 10198 (Part 10 & 11) & NRS 053:2008.

Tank Industries, founded in 1986, began as a cable accessory supplier for South Africa’s Telecommunications and Power Industries.

In 2000, it expanded into power cable accessories for Low and Medium Voltage Cables and became the first company in South Africa to receive EWSETA approval for cable jointing training.
